How it works

Three steps, and at each one you can see what goes where.

  1. Ask your question or upload a document

    Ask in everyday language. Upload a petition, a decision or a contract as PDF, Word or UDF. Names, ID numbers and addresses are masked before anything is sent.

  2. Teolex finds the sources

    Your question is rephrased in legal terms and searched across Court of Cassation, Council of State and regional appeal decisions and statutory articles. Where a topic has few decisions, new ones are fetched from the official decision search.

  3. You get a sourced answer

    Every paragraph is tied to its source. Quotations and time limits are checked against the source and anything that does not match is flagged. When the sources are not enough, Teolex says so instead of guessing.

    Answers with known sources. If you ask about a time limit, the answer opens with the limit and the article; invented articles and decision numbers are blocked in code.

  • Document summary

    Parties, claims, facts, and the points for and against the side you represent. Instructions hidden inside a document are not followed.

  • Petition draft

    A statement of claim or a reply from your own account of the case. Article and decision numbers are written from the source in code; download as Word or UDF.

  • Case files and calendar

    Your cases are stored encrypted, and hearings and deadlines go straight to your calendar. A briefing arrives 24 hours before each hearing, and a reminder that morning.

  • Masking

    Names, ID numbers, addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, email addresses and number plates are masked before they reach the language model; file names are never sent.

  • Preview

    You see what will be sent before it goes. Special categories such as health or criminal records trigger an extra warning.

  • Log

    When something was sent, to whom and for what is recorded; the text itself is not.

  • In your control

    Case files are stored encrypted and deleted whenever you choose. Questions you do not add to a case file are not kept.
