Privacy Notice

This is an English translation provided for information. Teonexa operates under Turkish law and the Turkish version of this notice is the binding text. In the event of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

This notice is prepared under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and explains why and on what legal basis the personal data of teonexa.com visitors is processed.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Teonexa Yazılım ve Danışmanlık Şirketi ("Teonexa"), at Yunus Emre Mahallesi, Aşkın Sokak No: 5/9, Kocasinan / Kayseri, Türkiye. Any question or request about the processing described here can be sent to info@teonexa.com.

2. Personal data processed

Only the data you send yourself is processed through this site:

• Contact form: name and surname, email address, the subject you choose, the content of your message, the address of the page the form was sent from, and the time of sending.
• Pilot application form: name and surname, email address, your bar association, law firm name (optional), your main practice areas, any note you add, the address of the page the form was sent from, and the time of sending.
• Technical: the IP address of the request, held in server memory for at most one minute purely to limit abuse. It is not stored permanently.

What you write in the forms is recorded together with the information above; see the transfer and retention sections below for detail.

The site contains no analytics software, advertising pixel or third-party tracking tool. See the Cookie Policy for detail.

3. Purposes of processing

• Reviewing and answering the requests, questions and enquiries sent.
• Contacting the person who made the request and carrying out the conversation.
• Assessing applications to the pilot programme and sending invitations to the lawyers selected.
• Protecting the site against abuse and rate-limiting requests.

4. Legal basis

Your personal data is processed on the following grounds listed in Article 5(2) of the Law:

• Sub-paragraph (c): processing directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract — where your request concerns a quote, a business discussion or an application to take part in the pilot programme.
• Sub-paragraph (f): the legitimate interest of the data controller, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms — being able to answer requests sent to us and protecting the site against abuse.

5. Method of collection

Data is collected only in electronic form, when you fill in the contact form or the pilot application form. No other automated collection takes place.

6. Transfers

What you send through the contact and pilot application forms is transferred to two service providers:

• Telegram Messenger: so that your request reaches the Teonexa team as an immediate notification.
• Google (Google Sheets): so that the request is recorded and past requests can be reviewed. The records are kept in a spreadsheet that is not publicly accessible and to which Teonexa controls access.

Both providers operate servers outside Türkiye, so these transfers constitute transfers abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the Law.

Beyond this, your personal data is not shared with third parties, save for requests from public authorities legally entitled to them.

7. Retention

The messages sent are recorded in the spreadsheet referred to above and kept for as long as is needed to review and answer the request; where a business relationship is established, for the limitation periods set out in the applicable legislation. At the end of those periods the records are deleted or anonymised. If you ask for deletion, the relevant row is removed. The IP address held for rate limiting is deleted automatically within a minute and is not written anywhere.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law you may apply to Teonexa to:

• learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• request information if it has been processed,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
• know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad,
• request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
• request deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in the Law,
• request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to third parties it was transferred to,
• object to a result reached against you solely through automated analysis,
• claim compensation if you suffer loss due to unlawful processing.

9. Making a request

You can send requests concerning your rights, together with information identifying you, to info@teonexa.com or in writing to Yunus Emre Mahallesi, Aşkın Sokak No: 5/9, Kocasinan / Kayseri, Türkiye. Requests are concluded as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature.
